Hi, guys! Have a nice day! Today it is quite hot, so I don’t want to go out or do anything but write this article. Ah ha! You see I work hard, right? This is all making sense because I love my job – making money online and more importantly, I want to share the unique things with you – Newbie. The topic of today is ON-PAGE SEO. Okay! It is the prime important factor to rank your website in the internet marketing strategies and optimize your content is considered as the mandatory step of on-page SEO.
It sounds very simple; you can read a lot of the articles which guide you how to optimize the content but after all, you still find it too difficult to understand and follow. I have ever been in this case, and I see that they who wrote the guidelines on how to optimize the content hide their light under a bushel too much because their blog posts are too broad and general without detailed instructions of how to do that.
Thus, I should do something bigger than what they did. I will share everything I know with you. Do you believe? No. So let’s read this. I hate people call me a braggart.
I make sure if you read the whole guide, you can optimize your content within just minutes.
Let me show it!
How to Optimize Your Content Perfectly
First of all, take a few seconds to look at the list of the essential factors to help your content optimized.
- Title tag
- H1 tag
- H2 tag
- Outbound link
- Internal link
- LSI keyword
Okay. Let us mention one by one!
Why is it the most important?
Both Google and the searchers can find your blog post quickly or slowly, all thanks to KEYWORD or rather, your pillar keyword (main keyword). So you must not forget about this.
After choosing the main keyword, you should place it at the beginning of the title. Why? Nothing comes from nothing. I will give you a specific example to easily imagine.
I select “on-page SEO” to be my focus keyword and write the title as below:
“On-Page SEO – How to Optimize Your Content”
I want to explain why I put it at the beginning of the title. Google is super uptight, so if you place your keyword at the middle or the end of the title, your website always ranks lower than your competitors. As you know, the searchers just look at the first five results of page 1 for any keyword. This explains your website doesn’t have any visitor and more horribly, you are an internet marketer or online business. No click, no sale, no money and die.
Besides, the KEYWORD in the title is in CAPITALS. This helps to feature your title in the search results.
To optimize the meta description is quite an art, you take a close look at the image below.
Pay attention to the highlighted text!
And continue looking at the other one.
Do you see that the text in the above article and the meta description are one?
Yes. Let me explain this. The text “ BEST CAMPING TENTS FOR SALES 2016 reviews suggest BEST FAMILY TENT by high quality, cheap 4 6 8 10 person sizes, brands, convenience & weather resistant” in the article is wrapped in an H1 tag. I used a WordPress theme which can custom the size of H1 tag so it looks very natural, not too big and the readers can not realize something difficult.
If your article contains the meta description, the search engines will discover your website as fast as possible and rank it higher than your competitors for the same keyword. Trust me!
As I have just mentioned above, sometimes Google is so pathetic that we must defer to its algorithm. When you write an article, you should be aware of your page’s URLs. For example, After you enter the title tag, URLs will be created automatically and often looks quite long as well as ugly like:
The URLs, which are like this, don’t be appreciated by the search engines. So you should modify it into:
It looks very short and SEO-friendly.
Why is it essential? A long tail version of your target keyword is always better than a short one because it makes easy to rank higher while your competitors do it very hard.
A long tail keyword is the three and four keyword phrase which is very, very specific to whatever you are targeting. I see that the searchers often tend to enter exactly what they are looking for like best on-page SEO, step-by-step on-page SEO guide, etc.
Thus, you can write the title tag “best on-page SEO 2016” or “on-page SEO guide” and so on. In general, just as long as you create a long tail keyword.
H1 & H2 tags
You imagine that you look at a bunch of ten roses, and most of them are red, but there is only a white rose. What will you look at first? Red roses, right? No. White Rose correctly.
H1 and H2 are like that. You need to make the particular emphasizes in your article.
H1 tag has to contain the pillar keyword and just appear once at the beginning of the article.
H2 tag also includes the focus keyword and should appear at least once.
A perfect article needs to perform the image and video. It looks more vivid and helps to keep the readers stay longer on your website and the ability to convince them higher very much than a post without any image and video.
You can easily realize that if you eat a meal with 100% meat, you don’t wanna let this meal continue within THREE minutes. Therefore, make your content as attractive and impressive as possible. OKAY?
In an article, there is not any regulation on the number of outbound links so you can put three or five or more in your article. BUT too much of something is not okay. I give an example to help you determine which outbound links you should put in your content.
My niche is “ON-PAGE SEO” and I want to rank this keyword on the top of the search engines so I will find the authority sites which write about off-page SEO.
And then I choose the top site in this niche to add into my content. Of course, my article has to mention this niche.
The other selection is Wikipedia because this site is old and Google loves it, so if you connect with it, your site will get some of the splashes.
Your blog post needs to put two internal links namely homepage’s link and the related posts’ URLs. The purpose of this is to increase the power of new content, so if you follow this guide, your article can be optimized entirely.
It stands by Latent Semantic Indexing and is synonyms that Google uses to determine a page’s relevancy (maybe quality).
Let’s read my example below!
My keyword is “On-Page SEO” and I choose the LSI keywords namely:
- On-page SEO optimization
- On-page SEO guide
- On-page SEO checklist
- Off-page SEO factors
- And much more
I think that you can understand everything with ease.
Above are all the experiences which I have learned about how to optimize the content in many years and I hope that you can become an SEO master after reading my blog post.
Thank you for visiting my page and see you the next articles!
